Young People
We recognise that being a teenager can be hard and are here to help young people to manage when these difficulties feel overwhelming. We have lots of experience engaging young people who might be reluctant to see us and we use creative methods to support them. We believe in the importance of developing a strong therapeutic relationship to create a safe space where young people can feel heard and understood.
We work collaboratively to help develop strengths, learn coping strategies and build resilience to help young people as they move into adulthood. We also work with parents to help them support their children to be happy and fulfilled.
Examples of what we can help with:
Low mood or depression
Anxiety
Stress
Low self-esteem/Confidence
Body image worries
Phobias
Problems with ‘fitting in’ or making friends
Help managing emotions
Difficulties managing life transitions
Traumatic experiences
Bereavement
