Children
We offer psychological treatment to children of all ages. Children can often feel overwhelmed with big feelings, which can be expressed in different ways. Part of what we offer in sessions is a space to explore these feelings and develop helpful strategies to manage them. Often it is essential to include parents in this process so that the they can support their child at home, so the work doesn’t stop when the sessions end. We are passionate about adapting the way we work to meet the developmental stage a child is at. For children, this often means getting creative and using play as a tool to help engage them, so they feel able to express themselves. Children report that they enjoy their sessions with us, which we see as a good sign we are getting it right.
